It’s not the first tuner to modify the new A90 Supra, but this version signed by SARD is surely one of the best we’ve seen!

But who is SARD? The first Japanese manufacturer to enter the Le Mans 24-hour endurance race and currently competes in the Super GT GT500 class.

SARD has taken the A90 and arranged a makeover for it – not only was its look redesigned to make it more aggressive, but the tuner didn’t forget to give it a few extra horses. The engine is still the same – a 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six under its hood, SARD’s version packs 493 hp at 5,800 rpm and 505 lb-ft of torque, an increase of 111 hp and 137 lb-ft.

Reprogramming of the mapping, new turbo, in short, the package improves the performance of this block, which now generates 500 horsepower and 685 Nm of torque, i.e. 118 hp and 185 Nm more.

Getting back to the look, this Supra benefits from a specific body kit that widens its fenders, add air intakes, a new diffuser… everything needed to give an even more aggressive look to this Japanese sports car.

“In order to realize a wide proportion with a low center of gravity, we created it as a design integrated with the body form, such as an over fender shaped from the center of the hood and a rear fender that flows from the door side.”

Takayasu Furukawa

SARD will only produce about twenty copies of this modified Supra and it will cost about 100,600 euros to buy one, not including import and export costs between Japan and the USA.
